Affiliate disclosure
Last updated October 28, 2026
The short version
Some links on Plainly Picks are affiliate links. If you click one and then buy something, the company may pay us a commission. You do not pay more because you used our link.
How affiliate links work
An affiliate link is a web link with a code that tells the company you came from our site. Companies run these programs directly or through affiliate networks, such as Impact. When you click, the company or network may place a cookie (a small file stored by your browser) on its own website so it can credit the sale to us. Our links pass through addresses that start with plainlypicks.com/go/ before taking you to the company's site.
How this affects our recommendations
- Commissions do not decide which products we recommend or the order we list them.
- When a product that pays us nothing is the best fit, we recommend it.
- Commission rates differ between companies. We do not let a higher rate move a product up.
- We disclose affiliate relationships at the top of each guide, before any affiliate link.
